Splendour in the Grass 2010

Let the party begin! SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS, one of Australias most celebrated music festivals is set to commemorate its 10-year anniversary with its most exciting event yet. 2010 and the beautiful site of WOODFORDIA in the QLD Sunshine Coast hinterland will play host to SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS in this very special anniversary year. And this year, the birthday party will take place over three magnificent days from Friday July 30th to Sunday August 1st 2010. This year, for the first time, were proud to serve up our much-anticipated line-up on one big, fat platter. Thats more than 80 acts that will perform across our three main stages the Amphitheatre, Mix Up Tent and GW McLennan Stage. The capacity at Woodfordia is 30000, with enough room on site for 20000 campers. As a result, there will be a combined event and camping ticket available for the first time. The event/camping ticket will provide access to the campgrounds from Wednesday 28th July with the actual event site opening 4pm Thursday 29th July until 12 midday on Monday 2nd August. Please note the Amphitheatre, Mix Up and McLennan stages will be operating on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. The Woodfordia campground will be the most convenient and affordable place to stay during the event. All you need is on site in our splendid mini-city, right on your grassy doorstep.
