Washington State Parks do allow guests to stay without prior reservations, but those wishing to have an assured space should make arrangements well in advance of their intended stay. Washington State Parks are very busy during the peak summer season due to the mild weather and comfortable conditions. The parks fill fast on the weekends so advance reservations are recommended.
